After a wearying summer we see, in our rose garden, autumn blooms rivaling those of their own spritely spring.
Purpose of the Association
The Union County Retired Teachers’ Association is affiliated with the Ohio Retired Teachers’ Association. The purpose of ORTA is to instruct and train individuals to improve and develop their capabilities to meet the social and economic changes and problems subsequent to retirement. In cooperation with other organizations with similar aims and purposes, the ORTA sponsors and supports locally, socially, statewide and nationally, legislation intending to contribute to the well-being of retired teachers in the state of Ohio. We, in Union County, are a part of District 6 of the ORTA and our representative is Patricia Bateman.
